My Entrance Story
After completing my 10+2, I appeared in the TU IOST BSc CSIT entrance examination and secured Merit Rank 52, earning a first-semester merit scholarship at St. Xavier's College.
That result wasn't achieved through last-minute preparation. It came from consistent chapter-wise practice, carefully reviewing incorrect answers, identifying weak topics, and regularly solving timed MCQ sets that reflected the real entrance pattern.
Four years later, after completing my BSc CSIT degree, I realized that the biggest challenge for most aspirants isn't the syllabus — it's knowing how to prepare effectively. The syllabus is fixed, the exam pattern changes very little, yet students often rely on scattered PDFs, outdated notes, and random question banks instead of structured practice. I shared that experience in From Entrance to Graduation, where I explain what actually helped me succeed.
Why I Built SafalTopper
While preparing for the entrance, I couldn't find a single platform that organized the official syllabus into manageable practice sets while also tracking my progress. Everything was scattered across different websites and PDF files.
That's why I created SafalTopper.
The platform provides free chapter-wise MCQ practice covering the official TU IOST syllabus, along with detailed performance tracking, XP, stars, streaks, progress reports, and weak-topic analysis so students know exactly what to revise next.
The goal is simple: make quality entrance preparation accessible, measurable, and free for every student.
Every guide published on this website and every MCQ set inside the app follows the same preparation approach that helped me earn Merit Rank 52 — study one chapter at a time, practise consistently, review every mistake, and regularly simulate the real examination with timed practice.
Helping Students Prepare
Since launching SafalTopper, I've focused on turning official TU IOST notices, model questions, syllabus updates, and admission information into clear, easy-to-understand guides for Nepali students.
Whenever TU publishes important announcements — whether they're about application dates, admit cards, results, eligibility, or entrance procedures — I update the relevant guides so students can rely on accurate and current information.
My aim is to ensure that students spend less time searching for information and more time preparing for the examination.
